I have seen

myself scatter like a dried loaf

crumb by crumb

falling out

wind carrying it

and dropping it

hither and thither

pieces of my heart

thrown helter-skelter

under the bus

o’er a cliff

o’ despondency

o’ pain

some pieces found home for

a moment or two

only to be swept away

by the keeper…

the fragments piled on

with a heap of dirty garbage

o’ repentance,

o’ hurt and loss…

few parts died …

couldn’t survive the agony

and some remained steady

the storm finally pitied the remains

and carried them to the river

o’ grace …

where the broken ones

finally dissolved

to once and forever

be baptised …

and renewed

in their true form,

The Formless …
